Monochromatic Fashion

Fashion is an ever evolving process. What is in vogue today may not be in circulation tomorrow. That’s how the cycle of fashion works. The trick lies in making the most of what are the current fashion scenes. Fashion is all about diverse combinations of textures, styles and colors in an interesting way. Following fashion trend implies playing with latest things and flaunting your own persona. I am pretty sure, many of you must have heard of monochromatic dressing sense. Definition wise, monochromatic fashion is all about wearing a single color from head to toe. It could be any particular color. The best advantage of this mode of fashion is in appearance. Monochromatic dressing sense makes one look slimmer and taller. That’s quite encouraging for a start. That effect takes place from vertical illusion created by monochromatic dresses.

To make your outfit more interesting and appealing, you can use different textures of the same color. Despite the fact that color of top and trouser is same, just using different texture will create all the necessary effects and compliments are bound to come your way. Variations in textures provide that much needed aesthetic dimensions that are so essential for making a style statement. One can use different textures like tweeds, ribbing, jacquards and knits etc to bring the effect. Apart from that adding pattern is another wonderful option. Those looking for slight variation can use changes in color palette.

Fashion Mantra

Our dressing sense greatly defines the balance of our body. To show your balance of body, you can use subtle mix of colors. They say, one should always wear dark colors where he or she is large and light colors where smaller. For example large hips are most suitable with wearing dark skirts. One should not go for tight clothes; rather fit clothes are more suitable. Fit clothes help in appearing slim whereas tight clothes have this nasty effect of making you even larger. Those with few extra pounds can always go for set-in sleeves with shoulder pads. These shoulder pads add the desired effect to your shoulders. If you are interested in appearing taller, go for solid color clothes with simple lines.

Try to avoid black color during summer or in a wedding ceremony. If you are interested in making your legs appear long then use straight leg pants. If you have heavy arms then wear tops or dresses with scoop neckline. Make sure to have these with half or long sleeves so that attention is drawn towards your neck and face. Similarly, for large thighs one should wear full leg pants or straight cut skirt. While using long sleeves make sure they should not extend the wrist bone. Never ever wear a brand new shoe directly at any occasion. Try to familiarize yourself to the new pair. To appear thinner, go for skinner stripe. One can also use pinstripe suit to appear slimmer and taller.

Indian Leather Market

Indians have given western manufacturers a run for their money when it comes to design and detailing in leather garments. Indian manufacturers tend to use best available accessories, machines and leather. Indians use two treatment methods for leather; one being chrome tanned and other is vegetable extracts. Both treatments involve usage of aniline dyes which gives garments rich look and feel. The leather is sold on the basis of per square foot. Vegetable extracts are usually more rough and tough. Aniline finish is used for manufacturing top class soft garments and it also boasts of a wonderful drape. Waxy finish uses more natural dyeing and little pigment.

If we talk fashion-wise, cropped jackets and slim line skirts are quite popular in Indian market. Younger generation is crazy about mobike jackets whereas females prefer multipanelled skirt fitted at the hips. Mobike jackets use various buttons and zips. Fashion conscious population also uses leather trousers in the coldest parts of north India. Another popular garment is oversized poncho or cape coat with a soft rolled collar. This dress has amazing leather finish.

India, in earlier days focused upon export of finished leather but now things have changed a bit. The emphasis is now on leather products that sell at handsome prices. Indian leather products are growing at the rate of 40 percent per annum. World wide, USA is more into medium range leather jackets and skirts whereas Europe prefers the very high fashion leather garments that must be exclusive in nature. India has become a major source of leather fabrication. The future of the leather industry is indeed very bright.
