Fixing Thin Eyebrows

Eyebrows play a significant role in overall appearance. Eyebrow has the power of changing your looks to better. If you are keen to accentuate your facial features then I would suggest you to focus on eyebrows. Not everyone is blessed with beautiful eyebrows. Some have thin eyebrows and they are far from flattering. Think eyebrows can spoil the entire look. Think eyebrows could be natural or result of factors like threading or over-plucking. But you need not feel bad about your think eyebrows. You always have the choice of working on thin eyebrows and consequently making your face attractive and beautiful.

First thing first. You need to allow your think eyebrows to grow to the optimum. That way, they will soon be in their natural shape. In between you can apply mascara to avoid a messy look. Many fashion experts suggest use of tinting options for thin eyebrows. Many women prefer to get their brows colored as well while going for hair color. For that, one needs to use a slightly lighter shade. Further, you can also touchup pen to impart color to your eyebrows.

Remember one thing about plucking that it hinders hair growth whereas trimming will prove to be a stimulus for hair follicles. Try to brush up your hair before you embark on plucking thing. Always use an eyebrow trimmer and cut them one by one. It is also advisable to use eyebrow powder instead of eyebrow pencil. You can also use small feathery strokes for further effects.

Dressing Tips for Short-Heighted Women

What is the common factor between Rani Mukherjee and Tanusree Dutta? Yes, they are beautiful and famous. Yes, they are actresses. What else? Apart from gorgeous, stunning they are also on the slightly lower side of height factor and yet they simmer on big screen. So what makes them stand out despite the height shortcoming? Anklets

Remember school days when we are asked to draw a village girl. She would be incomplete without ornaments especially what she wears on her legs: anklets. From those times to times where girls wear over jeans and miniskirts! This is the beauty of fashion. It takes something from somewhere and fits on something else which merges so well.

Today, anklets are a symbol of so many things. Most girls prefer to wear anklets only on one leg. It symbolizes non linearity, freedom of expression and above all, adornment of the human self. Anklets are distinctly visible and thus most girls want to flaunt various colours, designs and styles in anklets.

While some prefer just a single thin silver string with different colored beads in it, others prefer chunky big silver and gold anklets with big stones and beads attached on it.

One of the best parts of anklets is the beautiful sound that they make while one walks or runs. In the local language, especially in rural areas, anklets are called jhanjars and they are usually worn in both legs.

Anklets can be worn with salwar kameez and churidars as well. However, if you want your anklet to be visible, wear a chunky one. Matching anklets with earrings is preferred by most young women especially when they are dressed in Indian wear.

In Mumbai, Beautiful anklets are available at Colaba market and Bandra linking road while In Delhi anklets are available at Caunnaught place. Real Gold and silver anklets are available in jewellery shops.

Monochromatic Fashion

Fashion is an ever evolving process. What is in vogue today may not be in circulation tomorrow. That’s how the cycle of fashion works. The trick lies in making the most of what are the current fashion scenes. Fashion is all about diverse combinations of textures, styles and colors in an interesting way. Following fashion trend implies playing with latest things and flaunting your own persona. I am pretty sure, many of you must have heard of monochromatic dressing sense. Definition wise, monochromatic fashion is all about wearing a single color from head to toe. It could be any particular color. The best advantage of this mode of fashion is in appearance. Monochromatic dressing sense makes one look slimmer and taller. That’s quite encouraging for a start. That effect takes place from vertical illusion created by monochromatic dresses.

To make your outfit more interesting and appealing, you can use different textures of the same color. Despite the fact that color of top and trouser is same, just using different texture will create all the necessary effects and compliments are bound to come your way. Variations in textures provide that much needed aesthetic dimensions that are so essential for making a style statement. One can use different textures like tweeds, ribbing, jacquards and knits etc to bring the effect. Apart from that adding pattern is another wonderful option. Those looking for slight variation can use changes in color palette.

Fashion Mantra

Our dressing sense greatly defines the balance of our body. To show your balance of body, you can use subtle mix of colors. They say, one should always wear dark colors where he or she is large and light colors where smaller. For example large hips are most suitable with wearing dark skirts. One should not go for tight clothes; rather fit clothes are more suitable. Fit clothes help in appearing slim whereas tight clothes have this nasty effect of making you even larger. Those with few extra pounds can always go for set-in sleeves with shoulder pads. These shoulder pads add the desired effect to your shoulders. If you are interested in appearing taller, go for solid color clothes with simple lines.

Try to avoid black color during summer or in a wedding ceremony. If you are interested in making your legs appear long then use straight leg pants. If you have heavy arms then wear tops or dresses with scoop neckline. Make sure to have these with half or long sleeves so that attention is drawn towards your neck and face. Similarly, for large thighs one should wear full leg pants or straight cut skirt. While using long sleeves make sure they should not extend the wrist bone. Never ever wear a brand new shoe directly at any occasion. Try to familiarize yourself to the new pair. To appear thinner, go for skinner stripe. One can also use pinstripe suit to appear slimmer and taller.

Indian Leather Market

Indians have given western manufacturers a run for their money when it comes to design and detailing in leather garments. Indian manufacturers tend to use best available accessories, machines and leather. Indians use two treatment methods for leather; one being chrome tanned and other is vegetable extracts. Both treatments involve usage of aniline dyes which gives garments rich look and feel. The leather is sold on the basis of per square foot. Vegetable extracts are usually more rough and tough. Aniline finish is used for manufacturing top class soft garments and it also boasts of a wonderful drape. Waxy finish uses more natural dyeing and little pigment.

If we talk fashion-wise, cropped jackets and slim line skirts are quite popular in Indian market. Younger generation is crazy about mobike jackets whereas females prefer multipanelled skirt fitted at the hips. Mobike jackets use various buttons and zips. Fashion conscious population also uses leather trousers in the coldest parts of north India. Another popular garment is oversized poncho or cape coat with a soft rolled collar. This dress has amazing leather finish.

India, in earlier days focused upon export of finished leather but now things have changed a bit. The emphasis is now on leather products that sell at handsome prices. Indian leather products are growing at the rate of 40 percent per annum. World wide, USA is more into medium range leather jackets and skirts whereas Europe prefers the very high fashion leather garments that must be exclusive in nature. India has become a major source of leather fabrication. The future of the leather industry is indeed very bright.

Leather Garments

No fashion conscious person thinks of having a wardrobe without presence of leather goods and garments. Leather garments are big business in India and world in general. India is one of the major countries to manufacture and export leather garments. In fact, Indian leather industry is slowly making its presence felt in hugely competitive world leather market. It was not long, almost 10-15 years when fashion in leather garments was not much of a rage amongst people. Indian people were not fond of leather garments in a big way.

But things have changed drastically in a period of 10 years. Leather goods and garments have proved to be a big business world over and India is no exception to this trend. The major players in world leather market are; Hong Kong, Taiwan, Turkey, South Korea, Eastern European countries and countries from South America. India has a very low share in world leather market and Indians are trying to capitalize on huge human resources and availability of good and cheap leather to increase their world share.
Mostly, Indians prefer to export leather rather than put it into use in local markets. Mumbai, Chennai and Kanpur are the major manufacturing centers in India for leather garments. The Indian market is primarily based in north India because of climate and fashion conscious people. India has maintained international standards in leather garments manufacturing and most of the foreign tourists prefer to purchase from India because of low cost and better quality.

History of Jeans

Jeans has always been most popular clothing item among people of all age group. In fact, jeans is said to be only piece of cloth which can never go out of fashion. It is quintessential and commands ubiquitous presence. It is not only one of the most comfortable attire but stylish as well. I sincerely doubt is there any person in world who does not have a pair of jeans in his wardrobe! Liked by all, loved by all, preferred by all, jeans holds unparallel popularity amongst all other clothing items. So how did it originate? The origin of this word can be traced to sailors from Genoa, a place in Italy. These sailors used to wear similar kind of clothes in that time.

As we all know jeans is made from denim. In the initial period of 18th century jeans used to be a mix of several different materials. With the passage of time, only cotton was used to make denim. Because of its strong cloth material, working class people started preferring it over other clothes. Because of its long lasting nature, the wear and tear factor was completely removed so that made it number one choice for working class people. Initial color of the cloth was blue which was basically a result of indigo dye being used in these denims. Mid-19th century witnessed arrival of a German immigrant known as Levi Strauss to San Francisco who used a twilled cotton cloth from France, known as ‘serge de Nimes’, which later came to be known as denim. He established the company the Levi Strauss & Company and began the operation with pocket stitch design. This name is world famous name now which has continued to manufacture jeans for all age groups. Hollywood also contributed in popularity of jeans. Second World War saw usage of these jeans by American soldiers and since then jeans has never looked back in terms of popularity.
